Alessandra Mariotti is a Michelin Star and Le Cordon Bleu trained chef that focuses on holistic dining. She is currently based between Tuscany and Mallorca where she offers healthy culinary services and recipe development.
With a background in fashion design and events, Alessandra pursued her lifelong passion and trained at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy in Florence. After becoming a professional chef, she immersed herself in the world of innovative fine dining at Gurdulù restaurant. This led Alessandra to Mallorca, where she worked with Michelin starred chef Andreu Genestra at his farm-to-fork restaurant.
Such experiences enabled her to have passion, discipline and respect for food. With this in mind, Alessandra established Holistic Dining, a conscious approach to food that delights the senses while nourishing the body and soul.
As a holistic chef, Alessandra believes that what you put into your body is essential in caring for your physical and mental health and ultimately living a happy, balanced life.
She witnessed the impact that food allergies had on her friends and drew on her own history of nutrition problems to dive deep into health-conscious cuisine. Her aim is to develop ways to enjoy food while acknowledging diet, intolerances and nutrition.
Alessandra is a student of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She uses local and seasonal ingredients from sustainable sources when creating her recipes.
